Let the sun in and lather up sparkling bursts of joyful grapefruit and bergamot, infused with golden lustre and inspired by the tale of the Cempasúchil flower: Legend has it that the vibrant Cempasúchil flower was created when Xóchitl prayed to the Sun God Tonatiuh, asking to be reunited with her love, Huitzilin. So moved by her love, Tonatiuh transformed Xóchitl into a flowering bulb. Suddenly, a hummingbird gently touched the centre of this bulb, which bloomed into the golden flower, Cempasúchil. The lovers, Huitzilin reborn as the hummingbird and Xochitl as the flower, would then be together forever.

Co-creator Ana Paula Oviedo Leal reflects on their soap inspired by the Cempasúchil legend, “A golden marigold lather, blooming with warmth and citrusy florals — rooted in love, memory, and tradition.”
